 As a puppy, Zorro placed Fourth at the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of America National Specialty in the 9-12 month class in 2006 (Judge Mary Alice Eschweiler)  and First in American Bred Class in 2007 (Judge Kenneth Buxton). In Canada, he earned a Working Group 2 and Working Group 3 while being shown to his Championship.  Judges Eve Menegoz in Canada and Marjorie Reho in the USA  awarded him "Excellent" in the Siegerklasse for champions in Sieger European-style Shows.  He is an AKC Canine Good Citizen and has passed his Junior Herding Dog test on sheep.   Moreover, he is a gentle family companion, having passed all of his health certifications, and enjoys his days on the farm.

Anyx's parents live in Europe even though her dam was bred in the USA.  Her dad Rojan is a German registered Champion, Rojan von der Holderstockhöhe,  and dam Krizzy (Swiss Stars American Girl, breeders: Bobbi Kinley-Bluett, Chris & Vance Knuth) lives in Holland.






April 2011 - Two litters of 9 puppies each arrived in April from Zorro x the Lindenhof Kennel's (the Yoder family) Lara & Zorro x the Oleka kennel's (the Evans family) Maya. Maya was also bred in 2010 to Zorro, resulting in 10 puppies.  Congratulations Mammas & Pappa!

Faith & Striker Qualify in Rally Novice Obedience at 2010 BMDCA National Specialty!

Faith (CH Alpenschatz' Gotta Have Faith! RN CGC) and Striker (Bier's Hole in One v Alpenschatz BN RN) successfully qualified in Rally Novice Obedience at the May, 2010, Bernese Natl. Specialty in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. For Faith, this was her 3rd leg (in three outings), earning her a score of 97 and a new title, RN. For Striker, this was his first time competing and he qualified with a score of 96! Well done! Both dogs are sired by our American/Canadian Champion Zorro, Swiss Stars Legend of Zorro, Jr Herding Dog!                                  Faith is owned by Claire & Megan Coppola and Striker is owned by JoAnn & John Biercuk.
